Next Auction: March 2010 – Casino Theme – Sign Up Now!
Our first auction fundraiser in April 2009 was such an incredible success – we raised over $20,000 for UPREP – that we are getting ready to launch plans for the next one in March of 2010. We need as many volunteers as we can get – this is a great way to fulfill your required volunteer hours, help the school and also have a lot of fun!
Put your name, phone number and email address in the space below and click ’submit’ to receive updates on meeting dates and other auction information.

First Auction A Wonderful Success!
Thanks to the hard work and participation of many dedicated UPREP families and friends, our first event surpassed all expectations and raised a net amount of $21,000 for our school! Wow!
A crew of incredibly devoted volunteers, led by the intrepid committee chair, Diane Hurner, started at 6am Saturday morning to set up the lovely French Bistro decorations, and the hundreds of incredible auction items that would be offered that night.
As the guests started to arrive at 5:30pm that evening, they were welcomed by Chef Louie Louie, some French mimes, and lovely music from the Charles Valona Trio. French Champagne was available, and the fancy desserts were on display as everyone visited and feverishly bid on all their favorite items.
Auctioneer Mark Lascelles kept the energy and bidding high during the live auction portion of the night, and was even able to auction off ‘absolutely nothing’ for over $200!
The auction raised approximately $21,000 for our school – a fantastic accomplishment for a first-time event, and particularly in the current economic environment – bravo to all who were involved!
Next year promises to be just as successful, so please plan to attend, and consider participating on one of the committees as well – there is lots to do! Contact committee chair, Diane Hurner for more information: 242-0424

Week of April 13th: Spring Break
APRIL 25th: EXPERIENCE JOIE DE VIVRE! (Room available to us after 6am)
January 26, 2009
Experience Joie de Vivre!
Our first event is to have a French Bistro theme, and it will officially be called:
Experience Joie de Vivre!
With lots of French-inspired touches, this initial event will be a special night. We hope every UPREP family will put it on their calendar and save the date!
